Frequently Asked Questions

Do you do color tattoos?

I unfortunately do not do color tattoos.
I will occasionally use red ink, but other than that I strictly do black and white tattoos.
Although, if you would prefer a fully colored tattoo, I can always direct you to another amazing artist at the shop who does them!

What can I use to pay?

Cash - Card - Venmo - Cashapp

What do you recommend for after care?

I personally recommend keeping tegaderm on for 24 hours, then slowly peeling off in the shower under running water to reduce irritation on the skin. In the shower or in the sink, wash lightly with unscented antibacterial soap & water.
After doing so, pat to dry with a clean towel. Allow 10 minutes of air drying before apply a very thin layer of Aquaphor. Repeat the bolded sections once or twice a day.
Be sure to sleep with clean sheets the first week as it is an open wound. Tattoos take 2-4 weeks to heal but 6 weeks for the skin to heal. So it is normal for skin to be dry and itchy for a few weeks. If it is, use unscented lotion of your choice!
AVOID open bodies or water or pools and direct sunlight or tanning until the tattoo is fully healed.

Things to know

Before your appointment

When to know to reschedule:

If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, have mild to severe sunburn, have cold - flu - covid symptoms, are taking antibiotics, heavy drinking the night before.

(When you are sick or taking antibiotics, your body and immune system is already fighting one thing and your tattoo may not heal the best.)

Emailing:

When I email, it typically takes me days or even up to 2 weeks to respond to emails. I work a lot, even usually on my days off.

I also struggle with severe depression anxiety OCD and bipolar disorder. So emailing on time becomes very hard for me when I’m struggling with an episode or working a lot! Your patience is super helpful and appreciated.

When I open my books I work in groups of 25 people at a time.

I need to book all 25 people before continuing onto the next group of 25-30 people so I do not double book!

Please refrain from double or triple emailing me as I sometimes cannot respond fast enough because of these reasons.

Only double email me if you forgot to add something in your previous email, if you have a question or if you need to reschedule.

What to wear:

Please wear something that is loose fitting and comfortable depending on your placement of tattoo(s) you are getting.

EXAMPLES

Sternum tattoos: zip up hoodies, cardigan, pasties (if you’re comfortable), bikini top

Back tattoo: bikini top, zip up hoodie thrown on backwards so it upzips in the back, loose tank top

Arms: tank top, loose shirt, any t shirt

Legs: shorts, loose pants that can roll up

Foot: bring sandals or flip flops to wear when you leave

How to prepare before your appointment:

Week of:

Go to any store (target, Walmart, CVS, etc) to purchase an antibacterial soap or dial Gold and ALSO Aquaphor for cleaning and healing the tattoo during the healing process.

Clean your bed sheets to make sure you’re sleeping in clean sheets as a tattoo is technically an open wound.

Day of:

Shower before coming in, you do not have to shave the area you are getting tattooed, I will do so for you!

Make sure you keep hydrated! Bring a water and snacks with you if its a long appointment or you are prone to passing out. We usually have bottled water to provide as well.

Feel free to bring headphones for music or a book or anything you like to do to pass time, I usually draw the tattoo day of with the client so we can work on it together and that can typically take an hour or so!
